Education Studies now part of the new School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences
The new School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences (SELCS) was established at the start of 2023-24, bringing together five departments – Education Studies, Applied Linguistics, Lifelong Learning, Teacher Education, and Research in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities – all under the leadership of Professor Fiona Copland.
This new arrangement offers many opportunities for us to work collaboratively with colleagues across the School, fostering interdisciplinary excellence in research, impact, teaching and regional engagement. Collectively we have a vast array of expertise and experience, and we are very excited about what the future holds.
You’ll be hearing more news from the School in the future, so please keep your details up to date.

During the fellowship, I expanded my research to higher education. Currently, I am involved in multiple research projects exploring ESD at Warwick and the global contexts.”
